The Evidence Linking Roundup to Lymphoma Keeps Growing

Glyphosate (Roundup) isn't just "probably" carcinogenic anymore. The evidence is getting harder to ignore with every passing year.
Updated Evidence Since IARC's Warning
A 2026 review in Clin Lymphoma Myeloma Leuk updates the scientific case against glyphosate-based formulations (GBFs) and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). Since IARC classified glyphosate as "probably carcinogenic" in 2015, the evidence has only gotten stronger.
New animal studies confirm GBFs are carcinogenic in rats and cause acute leukemia. Genotoxicity studies show glyphosate damages DNA in human lymphocytes even at low doses.
A New Mechanism: Bone Storage
Here's the finding that changes everything. Glyphosate chelates and stores in bone, then slowly releases over days to weeks. That means a single exposure leads to prolonged bone marrow and blood exposure. Your bone marrow is where blood cells are made. Constant chemical exposure there could explain how glyphosate triggers blood cancers.
Still Unregulated
Despite IARC's classification and mounting evidence, most pesticide regulatory agencies have not restricted glyphosate. It remains the most heavily used herbicide in the world.
How to Reduce Exposure
Buy organic when possible. Wash produce thoroughly. Don't use Roundup in your yard. Filter your water. And explore non-toxic home essentials for chemical-free alternatives.
